The Catheter for Ureterocutaneostomy is a therapeutic device designed to calibrate the terminal sector of a ureterocutaneostomy.
(Ureterocutaneostomy: surgical procedure consisting of a communication of the ureter with the outside through a cutaneous hole).
It is indicated in those patients in whom an advanced malignant pathological process (bladder, prostate or rectal tumors with infiltrative growth) does not allow the restoration of urinary transit, or a short life expectancy does not justify the performance of internal derivative procedures (creation of reservoir or neo-bladder, etc.).
