The Eschmann Intubation Stylet is a special auxiliary device to facilitate the procedure in case of difficult endotracheal intubation. It has a slightly curved distal end, which allows, in the blind introduction, to feel the contact of the tip of the same with the tracheal rings and confirm its position within the airway.
